That's a before and after treatment picture. That's incredible.

Why isn't the before and after sans makeup. You can see the more minor burns on the neck but not the major ones on the face. I want to see how the treatment actually worked out.
after rubbing alcohol was thrown onto a lit torch
Why would you even do that?? Props to the medical team, and I'm happy the victim healed so well, but seems like something that just shouldn't have happened in the first place.
, a fire broke out at Western University frat house Pi Kappa Alpha
When did Canada get frats? That's such an American thing.
They've been up here since the 19th century, mostly at the larger universities, but they aren't in the news much because they don't cause the level of trouble the American ones do.
Sometime around 1879.
Never had any at my school.
Must have been a tiny or very new school, or they were around and you just didn't hear about them. They aren't a big deal in Canada, generally speaking; at my school, I only ever find out about one because a friend of mine had lots of friends in the fraternity. This was at a mid-size school that's less than 60 years old, iirc.
Pretty big/old. It just wasn't a thing in Canada as far as anyone there was aware.
