In Europe the discounted PS5 slim costs roughly the same as a Switch 2 in several territories, the whole discount thesis falls off a cliff once one realises that at the same price people still preferred the PS5. Whoever wanted a switch 2, already got it at launch, everyone else can see the cash grab.
