Gravity is on a separate subsystem & power supply, because without gravity people couldn’t reasonably move and fix the rest of the ship, so even when compared to general life support, it’s the most critical function and the most isolated.
And production cost.
I thought legacy was supposed to be new stories post dominion with Captain Seven. I want that.
What I don’t want is the TNG cast showing back up every week. They finally had a perfect send off, and a passing of the torch. For me their chapter is closed.
I feel like for the big studios, the game industry is very much like the auto industry. If they want to operate like this fine, but maybe do a scheduled furlough while they shut down the plant during slow times?
I’m not a fan of that model either, but at least it’s more honest than hiring somebody With the promise of a career and laying them off when the game is done.
For the money those firms are spending on creating those games, he just might be.

Honestly this is smart for Ford. The weak spot of an EV pickup in the American market is towing, and a gasoline range extender solves this issue while keeping most of the benefits.
Now, if they can market it effectively is another question.
