I visited Scotland last year and went to a few museums. It's crazy the amount of shit they stole from their colonies.

Stuff The British Stole is an interesting podcast. It looks like they have a video version on Gem, too.

I would imagine that you could assume that other colonial powers did much the same.

It's a shame the pole won't be in Scotland where it could serve as an education piece both about colonialism and Indigenous culture in British Columbia, but I do understand the desire from the Nisga'a to bring back something they feel belongs to their Nation.
