At this point, the only thing that would be legitimately shocking for the audience would be if he had an actual aneurysm or heart attack mid-speech and died. Anything else he says or does won't move the shock needle much at all.

Then when the lawsuits come, he'll slip Roberts another $20 and get the court to say that Prez can do that because the Constitution doesn't explicitly say the words, "POTUS cannot cancel elections".

That or he's going to issue an EO for a federal poll tax to be paid directly to him, as a means of ensuring voter integrity.

Something like that before midterms would be just what the GOP wants to exercise more control and cancel elections.
