An agreed statement of facts shows Cineplex made more than $11.6 million in the six months after the fees were implemented in mid-2022 and another $27.3 million on fees in 2023.

I don't understand why profiting from fees isn't illegal?

Isn't the purpose (and insinuation) of charging fees supposed to be a direct offset of a specific cost?

Goddamn corporate assholes.
