Crazy thing is, up until 2024, Canada was proud to be socialist.

Huh? Canada has not been socialist at any time I can remember.

On one hand, we're quite socialist compared to the states. On the other hand, I think the last time we as a country could be said to be proud of what socialist things we do have is near a century ago.
