I think in my case, if you judged a gift of hand-selected wildflowers as a bouquet of weeds, I think we both would have established each other's bona fides and we'd be done, so that's kind of a win-win there. :)

Well, i do have a pretty nice balcony selection. That said, though, i don't think anyone would care about me pulling some tansies, lupins, daisies, or poppies from a vacant lot. You could do a lot just with grasses too.
Edit: ooh, i forgot clover flowers. Amazingly pretty. Dandelions are lovely too.

My partner prefers a santoku, branded Culinary Institute of America. It's thinner and better for veggies than the basic chef knife.

It is rare! These rescues came to us through a friend of a friend in the southern USA (Los Angeles, i think), and wended their way over here in BC Canada. I think in warmer climates you'll see it more.

Don't buy those knife sets though. Cheap crap. A good paring knife, a nice big knife like a Chinese cleaver or a German or French style chef's knife, and a bread knife, will work for pretty much anything.
I was messing around with how Chapter 5 regions might map into the existing game, and came up with this.
- Connects Milton to the coast
- unites the two road networks, so you can drive all the way from Bleak Inlet to Suzuki (pre-quakes).
- connects the railway from Mystery Lake to a coastal port for log export, and obviously all the way to TFTFT
- Plausibly allows Jace to get stuck in Blackrock, with the mine shortcut to Suzuki, while maintaining her ability to normally drive there (by going through Milton. Hypothetically there could be a road going directly there from Keeper's Pass as well)
- Desperation Bay is too linear, but it has those two iconic landmarks, so I think the SAR station could go halfway between the ship & the lighthouse.
- Uses the railway to the SAR to connect to Port Mary.
- Plausibly justifies Milton being "halfway between the mountains and Port Mary" - the drive to Suzuki could be "in the mountains"
- Preserves coastal access to Perseverance Wilds

On the ravine heading to the Mystery Lake transition cave, looking between a couple rocks, I see this, looking maybe north-northwest.
I'm betting that's the road to Keeper's Pass, after the prisoner transport bus tunnel cave-in.

It really lays bare some missing pieces. Like there's no road that goes to Mountain Town currently that connects into the wider network. And the future rail link after it terminates in Coastal Highway certainly has to go north to either Port Mary or Perseverance Mills.
I learned two things today.
1: the quonset in CH is named "Quincy's Quonset".
2: It has what looks like an EV charger station now. Nice. That was definitely not the case a few years ago.
