Which people? Who is a fan enough of FF6 to want a remake, but doesn't like the presentation of FF6 and wants it bloated with spectacle?
Hard disagree. Customers don't care about production values nearly as much as executives who want a big-budget trailer and screenshots to show off to investors.
And any discussion of pedophiles, or the epstein class. Seriously, you can keep looking through that list and it'll keep getting worse and worse, but I had to click "reply" at SOME point.
Than Go was the guy who painted sunflowers, right?
...But you ARE trusting them. You're taking their word that the internet is doing horrible things to him. You forget that they are ALSO on the internet, and capable of lying to discredit the consequences of their own actions. You are ALSO on the internet, and a part of the toxicity you rail against.
Take your hands off the keyboard, put them on your lap, take a deep breath, and audibly say the words "it is possible I am wrong about this."
We have proof the guy tried to secretly censor the entire fediverse to promote a conservative agenda. We have proof they committed cyber crimes. There is a pattern of dishonest behaviour.
We don't have ANY evidence of the death threats or doxxing beyond the claims of a man proven to be dishonest. You don't have any, and try to hide the fact you don't have any with a weak "you wouldn't believe it". The same way I tell my friends "you wouldn't know her, she goes to a different school."
Right now, the two possibilities are that literally everyone except you has been tricked, or you have been misled by a desperate, proven liar. Take a second to consider the possibility that, maybe, you're wrong to trust them.
One side of the story has evidence. I'll listen to that side.
Tesseract is a lemmy frontend a lot of people use. The dev secretly added a blocklist to the software that hides ANYTHING they don't approve of, which includes: discussing zionism, discussing mod abuse, discussing billionaires, a lot of generic news communities, the Wholesome Yuri community, the dz0 instance, and a LOT more. It also includes over 500 users who didn't do anything worthy of a ban (at least of that scale).
It's nakedly a single person trying to force their own agenda. They got called out, and they took it as well as you could expect. Which is to say, they're crashing out HARD.
Domestic abuse is not something to be taken so lightly that you can throw it into an internet argument and dismiss the consequences of your own actions with "dude just has those vibes". Show some fucking respect.
That's like saying they spilled tomato juice in their tomato sauce. It's all the same ingredient at different concentrations.
Hi, I just found some context you deliberately left out, since it was directly above the modlog comment you included, less than a minute later. Yikes.
Elon's breath reeks of onion, though
