It's pretty much single player Genshin!

From a Steam review:

The gear crafting, guild system, and hunts remind me of Monster Hunter, the exploration and questing remind me of MMOs like FF14, the puzzles remind me of Crimson Desert super easy mode, the team combat is a bit of Granblue or Dragons Dogma 2 on super speed, and the truly open colorful world and towers remind me of Zelda. It's grindy, but in a good way, because progression feels rewarded by gameplay - every currency you need you get by playing - and there is actually a ton of depth with your team synergies, equipment bonus set stacking, skill combos, and more. You can team up with your friends and loved ones in raids and dungeons, or just farm for the specific stuff you want yourself in between the main quest lines. There is also mount and pet collecting, cooking, mini games, and a lot of stuff to do for the low price. It really does feel like an offline fully open world MMO. The graphics, animations, and general style are all also over the top pretty and extremely well done.

The important part of the update: "Made compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 Edition." But as noted, the actual "Switch 2 Edition will launch next week on 30th July 2026. A physical version will follow on 1st October 2026."

Released in Japan in 1998 and in North America two years later (courtesy of Atlas USA), Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure was a game designed by Disgaea creator Sohei Niikawa, who was reportedly working in the company's sales & marketing department at the time.

About

Dungeon Antiqua is a dungeon crawl-type RPG with beautiful dots and nostalgic sounding chiptunes that are reminiscent of the 1980s and 1990s.

2D maps that expand to match the character’s field of view. A game design that can be played over and over again thanks to a wide variety of professions, free party formation and auto-generated maps. Game progression focused on hacking and exploration, with no redundant scenarios or direction. Fast-paced, modern and comfortable controls.

Dungeon Antiqua is a portal to new adventures for players who love retro games. Enjoy new challenges while reminiscing about the good old days of gaming!
