Addiction can often lead to trauma, poverty, unwanted children, all sorts of degradation, so even if someone can overcome the obstacle of stopping that won’t necessarily make them stronger. They may even be weaker than they’ve ever been from the stress on their body and psyche.

I have done heroin and I always thought that saying was dumb. Later I’d tell the kids I mentored in a drugs and alcohol program that what doesn’t kill you will likely leave you scarred, weaker, and/or in pain for the rest of your life.

I’m a big fan of try anything once though, probably how I got addicted to drugs in the first place. Not like ANYTHING, but like anything fun that isn’t fatal most of the time.

My partner sometimes asks me, What’s that anime you don’t like to tell people you like?

    Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation

I like the art and merciless world they live in and a lot of the characters but that show I probably fast forward scenes more than any other. Shield Hero is probably second with the lusting for the little chocobo(giant bird thing) princess that can change to little girl.

Wow. I made another comment on this post about how I was afraid and curious due to diet stuff, but now just afraid for the future.

I am in constant disbelief allergies can occur at any time for seemingly no reason, I do believe I just can’t understand.

Recently found one embedded on my ankle. I was both afraid and curious to see what a life without red meat would look like, probably a little healthier due to more conscious meal decision making.

I was a Boy Scout for a number of years and I don’t know how other than, I’m the luckiest person I have ever met, but I’ve never had an embedded tick lose its head in my skin after peeling the fucker off.
