I successfully escaped China. I was so happy to have tea with milk in it. I was unhappy to go to the shop and be reminded that I cannot buy a tub of ice cream here for £1.

It was hot.

I didn't actually want to be wise, patient, and humble, but somehow life is putting me up to it. Fuckin' slings and arrows.

Last week was rather warm, but good. Now I’ve got covid. Boo.

Very weird week.

Father in law passed at the beginning of the month and his funeral was this week. It’s been a terrible couple of months after we also lost our dog (my user-namesake) back in April.

On the flip side, we collected our new Iggy puppy, Devon, last Friday and he has been a gem. We even took him to the funeral.

On balance it was good, I’m still just a bit worried about my husband. I think he is okay but how do you know?

My week was okay. Life's been busy as of late, a family member is suffering from a breakup very badly, so I am being there for him.
