I went to my favourite butchers on Friday. I probably should not be allowed there unsupervised: pork ribs, brisket, sirloin steaks and burgers. The ribs are going to the BBQ shortly and brisket is in sous vide for tomorrow.

I took the dogs for a swim earlier. Their pure joy and enthusiasm jumping in to fetch the ball is special!

Wife and I had a brilliant long weekend in Belfast. Def Leppard and Extreme on Friday at Belsonic, and live blues rock performances all around the city centre throughout the weekend. We visited the Titanic museum, which was very interesting, and sampled a good few pubs too.

    How was your week?

Their Government's early decisions in setting targets for the program (e.g. fastest train service in Europe) followed by political wrangling about the route with Tory heartlands have cost the UK tax payer tens of billions.
