    Downvotes don't get it. Lemmy mods ban people at the drop of a hat and this echo chamber is deafening compared to reddit (at any point in time). But at least we're not overrun with bots.

    Reddit is no different. The mods there are also just unpaid volunteers who started the subs and control those subs entirely through their own personal biases.

    That's only because most of Lemmy actually removes Nazis and their bootlickers.
