Flag ID (lemmy.ca)

This is on the Sons of the American Revolution website. I cannot identify the South Atlantic flag. This is the highest resolution offered on the website. The Union appears to be a lighter blue and longer than standard but google has been no help.

I think it’s more common in Europe since those are large targets for terrorism. Plus if you have a distinct “armed police” they are more likely to be heavily armed.

Also, I think most police outside of major cities in the USA all have ARs in their patrol cars now. I remember when my cop buddy was complaining about five years ago when they took his car shotgun and gave him an AR instead.

They didn’t just bring their work phone, they admitted to an immigration officer they planned on performing a job in the United States. Also, other countries will detain you pending deportation as well. The US is unique because of the number of deportations and the speed they are building new facilities to deport people.

The US also supports every country around Israel with some form of aid. Meaning you aren’t just getting economic sanctions but major funding pulled.

$245 million to Egypt, $496 million to Lebanon, $1.82 Billion to Jordan. You get the picture.

China is fairly pro-palestine from what I have read, which is weird since I would guess the more legitimate Israel’s claims on Palestine would make their claim over Taiwan more legitimate.

Francis said you can bless everyone all at once, including gay people, at the end of the sermon. Some want to make it a stand alone blessing like those given at weddings. Leo is saying you cannot do that, but can still bless everyone.

My PC screen randomly went black while I was playing a game, and the VGA light turned on. When I rebooted, the cpu light turns on for a second, then turns off and the DRAM light turns on for a second, them the VGA light turns on permanently, screen completely black and unable to do anything. I have already tried clearing the CMOS, reseating and testing RAM, and the cable to my monitor. Any other ideas?

Edit: Just got it back from Office Depot. It worked in store according to the tech but when I brought it back home it did not work again. Possibly my Displayport cable? The VGA light is still on, so maybe it’s my outlet? Any ideas would be nice.

Edit 2: Thunderstorm must have messed with my cable running between my PC and Monitor. After rerunning it at Office Depot, a new cable and a deep clean fixed my PC. Thanks for everyone’s help.
