I mean this is an actual plot point in Harry Potter, with the tales of Beedle the Bard…
We do a similar thing in the European Parliament, where it is called degressive proportionality. Your country, Germany, has more representation overall than mine, Austria — but less representation per capita, so my vote has more impact on the Parliament's composition than yours.
Also, German states are represented in a similar way in the Federal Council (Bundesrat).
I would be willing to help out. I am on Lemmy pretty much every day.
A US Representative from New York: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandria_Ocasio-Cortez
I agree that this should have been spelled out because the abbreviation AOC can stand for other things too and web search engines don't necessarily think of this representative as the primary meaning.
Lester and Eliza.
That's the one, thanks. I thought this happened much earlier than 2013 for some reason.
Wasn't there a long time ago a genuine bug report in Mozilla's bug tracker reporting that the source code was publicly available and this was insecure? I can't quickly find it because I can't think of good search terms…
I think that has happened before, though?
No, you just need to look at the total number of posts, account creation date, calculate the difference between today and the account creation date, then divide the number of posts through the result. Easy math I would expect any average teenager to be able to do.
Finding restaurants can be done with the same OpenStreetMap-based apps as navigation. I use OsmAnd all the time to find out where restaurants are.
But OpenStreetMap doesn't have a review functionality, nor is it trivial to add one from an external site to one. Apparently there have been efforts in this direction, but I don't know a lot about them: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Reviews
So I don't have an answer for reviews. But the review databases that currently exist are a manipulation battleground which people should take with a grain of salt anyway.
