Idk if I've been committing a coffee crime, but I've been doing this for about 6 months now.

18g (preferably light roast) coffee.
Grind at 16 clicks Timemore C2.

00:00 (closed):
pour 350ml water, then coffee, stir
05:00:
Open valve and drawdown

Add 300g ice. Enjoy.

I've tried various grind levels and got similar results. The only change was the drawdown time, but if you factor in the temperature when adding ice, it tastes basically the same. I've yet to do an A/B test and all observations are compared to the previous day's brew.

I don't like hot brews or darker coffee so ymmv :shrug:

Programming for me is not about getting the end result, but the process of solving the problem. And people who like this part are the ones who don't like it that much. If I like playing drums, I'd want to play the drums and not get a drumming machine that may play 10x better than me.

Tangential question - Is it possible to feel some way for a period of time and realize what it is (or close to what it is) after it has been articulated by someone?

Or better yet, can the brain, with its subconscious bias, trick you into believing like you've been thinking the same thing after someone has said something that broadens your horizons?

I don't know why but I could never get used to hot coffee. I've tried it multiple times over the last few years and it's always a one off thing. I live in a desert so it makes sense to me, but everyone around me drinks hot tea and stuff. I guess I'm the weird one.

There's a saying in Korea I relate to, that goes like: Even if I freeze to death, always Iced Americano.

The only thing I don't like about iced coffee is if I'm not careful, I inhale that stuff in a few seconds and all that's left is an empty mug and a heart full of regret.

Their main reason for creating a desktop was to make a device with this new Strix Halo mobile chip. It's a cool chip, but it's mobile and needs a redesign of the laptop motherboard and other parts. That's the reason why companies are not keen to launch laptops using it. Framework guys thought why not make it into a desktop form factor then.

Also, the thing with modular RAM, they contacted AMD, who in turn assigned engineers to try to make it modular. But due to the high bandwidth requirements and other signal integrity stuff, it's not possible. The main reason being it's more like a GPU chip with a few CPU cores tacked on.

Maybe use a RAM based fs? Some distros mount /tmp as tmpfs into the RAM. You can look into that.
