Specifically, I think it's a reference to Dean Browning.
Yeah! That's why I put all of my secrets directly into the code.
Horizon Forbidden West added a "photo mode", I think mostly just to show off how good the graphics can be (when nothing is being animated). It does look awesome. If you zoom the camera in, you get anatomically correct facial features.
There might also be some conversation scenes with close-ups of Aloy. Depending on your graphics settings, you might get some extra details rendered.
I am absolutely convinced that the game is not rendering fine hairs while you're fighting robot dinosaurs, since, as you suggest, that would be kind of ridiculous.
But, hey, you really kicked the shit out of that straw man! Great job!
Doucy was term-limited and didn't run in 2022. Hobbs beat Kari Lake.
It doesn't even look like rosemary. Rosemary comes off from the branch as a "pointy" leaf (like a wide pine needle). That looks like rosemary with thyme growing out of the tip of each leaf.
A fun counterpoint to the "albums weren't meant to be shuffled" argument is Apollo 18 by TMBG.
On the track list, "Fingertips" is track 17, followed by "Space Suit" at track 38. That's because Fingertips is actually 21 mini songs (mostly 10 seconds or less), each with their own track, that are supposed to appear randomly between full songs when you listen on shuffle.
On the other hand, modern streaming services usually just have a single track for Fingertips, so I'm now used to hearing those 21 mini songs in the original, "play it straight through" order.
Thank you for the reminder! After seeing this post, I cleaned the infuser for my Dinamica.
Yeah... I imagine that Sony already knows what countries they're selling into (like for regulatory reasons). Either they'll expand PSN into those countries or they'll cut some off.
This isn't like games on Steam requiring a PSN account (which Sony and/or Valve should have handled better). A digital-only PS6 should only sell in jurisdictions where people can buy content.
I don't agree with Sony's approach, but this article is not saying anything interesting. "OMG, unless Sony expands the Playstation store, people in 121 countries won't be able to buy games for their PS6s!" No... The PS6 won't sell in those 121 countries unless Sony expands the Playstation store, since it will be a brick.
I was reading this thread and was thinking of recommending Treme.
I would say that if you watched The Wire and liked the way that David Simon used each season to look at different facets of heroin crime in Baltimore, then Treme offers something similar for post-Katrina New Orleans. The difference is that you get the different lenses on New Orleans from start to finish, as the story follows characters who embody different facets of the city.
Because each episode tells a few minutes of each of these stories, and the stories focused on music (which is obviously very important to understanding New Orleans) need to take the time to play whole songs, it's a very slow-moving show. I watched it when it was airing and waiting a week to advance each story just a bit was agonizing. Maybe bingeing it feels faster.
The acting, writing, and direction are all very good.
Oh, I remember the controversy about that show! For Love, Death, and Robots season 1, Netflix randomly put people in one of four buckets (probably a hash of your account ID mod 4 or something), and your bucket determined your episode order.
Apparently, they thought it would be a neat way to present an anthology series (since order doesn't matter). Conspiracy theories arose that Netflix had sussed out peoples' sexual orientation and were using that to determine the episode order.

Because of the implication?
