I’ve made a rosemary simple syrup a handful of times, and it does a lovely job of gussying up any old drink. Like gin, lemon, soda, with some of that is primo. I just chop up a few tablespoons, add it to 1C water and 1C sugar, and boil it for about 15 minutes, then strain out the rosemary. Easy and effective!
Great shot! Very painterly.
Thanks! It’s from riedel: https://www.riedel.com/en-us/shop/drink-specific-glassware/rocks-glass-641700002
Slightly on the big side, but great weight and quality.
Thanks! No big secret on the aquafaba, I don’t think. I used a fair amount and then really shook the shit out of it. It eventually separated, but after a shockingly long time! It maintained that nice, thick texture throughout, even drinking with the straw. Kinda reminded me of a nitro cold brew, if you’ve ever had one of those.
I love this one! All time fave.
That’s a great looking drink. Nice work, looking forward to trying it!
Looks great!
It’s not too apple-forward! Certainly using the bonded version of applejack helps by dialing up the alcohol level.
So good you were floored?
Thanks so much!
His wedding is in March, so no batch details yet! But I know his plan for batching is to use cold brew concentrate instead of espresso. If you’re not familiar with concentrate I’m not sure if you can buy it, but when I make cold brew at home it ends up needing 3 parts water for every part of cold brew.
I tried this tonight and thought it was fun and really different. Thanks!
