I once got told by an American that it stood for 7 hours a day 11 days a week, so there you go.
They've moved on to mirrors in space now, after briefly experimenting with advertising on the moon which they gave up on when they realised no one would be able to see it.
I've been driving for years and I've never used my airbag even once. What a waste of money.
I've been in cars with electronic doors and the emergency latch is always super obvious, brightly coloured, and in one case glowed in the dark. For some reason Tesla feel the need to hide it.
I wish we had more variation in car designs but I suppose it would make licencing difficult. I'd like it if we could drive with foot pedals, push down to accelerate and twist left and right to turn like how it works on an aircraft. Then you could drive hands-free.
Not only does it fail to pass basic safety tests it's also too heavy to drive on a normal licence in pretty much all the countries of the world. It weighs so much that it qualifies as a truck, not a pickup truck, a six wheeler. It's so heavy it has to take alternate routes around old bridges.
Even if it was legal in Europe, it'd be such an inconvenience to drive that no one would want one.
Depends on the type of bomb, the yield, and if it was an air burst or ground burst strike. Back in the cold war they used to say between 3 and 6 weeks but with modern nukes which have larger yields it's actually probably less time because they are fusion based, which don't produce as much radioactivity.
Just make sure to ignore the preppers, because they haven't actually got a clue. One of the things they always seem to stock is hunting equipment, so they're proposing to go hunt after a nuclear fallout event. Yeah they went won't long.
Pretty much every acclaimed centralist is actually right-wing but in the closet about it. Of the few that aren't they're mostly just politically ignorant, and like to mouth off a family gatherings about how all politicians are terrible, yada yada yada, rarely can they actually explain why. They tend not to be invited next time.
These are specifically for gay conservatives who are so far in the closet that they are in a castle in Narnia. It's honestly kind of pathetic.
Reminds me of a school textbook we had. I don't know what the reason was, I guess they would just trying to be funny, but ot had little quotes in the margins that sounded sensible when you first read them, but fell apart if you thought about it for 3 seconds.
One of them was: Cleopatra was closer in time to stegosaurus, then we are now.
I'm sure he could, but it would be in Europe away from him and his science denying flat earth believing pals.
