I don’t think the “Singularity” is bullshit, we’ll get there if we make AI in a completely different way such that it’s capable of actually reasoning… Just these LLMs are garbage

I’ve used they/them occasionally for basically every person I’ve ever met in my life, and don’t think really any of those people or myself considered it misgendering? I understand it can be weaponized though, as a way of not recognizing someone’s chosen gender, but… People have been using singular they/them for a long time and it’s a good conversational tool

We make their practice of forcing game companies to charge the same on Steam as other platforms illegal. If they could charge less on other platforms (due to the lower cuts of the other platforms) they would, and it would loosen Steam's artificial hold on being the de-facto place to buy games.

It is also the voters yes but they are being deceived by the propaganda machine, idk at a certain point maybe the guys and gals actively stripping human rights from people and grabbing power can take a little blame

Good job on the Republican Party for being complicit in our current president continuing to absolutely wreck the global image of the U.S. on top of everything else.

Citizens United isn't a law, it's a Supreme Court ruling which has its (flawed) logic based on the Constitution. A law won't cut it, because Citizens United would be used as precedent to strike it down as unconstitutional. We likely need a new Supreme Court ruling or constitutional amendment.

I moved to Linux Mint last year, and while I expected it to be easier for me because I had prior exposure to linux in general, it's been smoother than I expected! I feel like I'm in charge of my machine again.

One frustration I had was with one or two programs which I wanted to run which have been just incompatible with any version of wine/proton I could try it with, I'll have to get a windows VM or something for these rare cases, but hope I won't have to use it in the future
