If they're getting electronic aids from the institution, then it should have an 'exam mode' that it has to be put into.

I guess the only reason they don't do electronic exams on institution controlled hardware, is - I assume - they can't afford enough terminals. But they should have enough for the people that can't use pen and paper.

Why though? What problem is your model trying to solve. Shitty crowd computing crap like SETI is already a massive fucking waste of resources.

Whatever resources you have, just try to use them efficiently, for something useful.

Oh dear, my comment is a waste of resources.

Don't worry, your pension fund or bank can. They will gladly use your savings to print money to give to people (not-you) to bid up the price.

ed: tbf your savings are fairly irrelevant part of their balance sheet, but if they were effectively regulated then they might be . . .

    Yes, maybe, for some.

Not many live shows (ignoring classical i guess) follow album order though and they're very rarely worse than the LP.

Jeffrey Lewis did a cool interlude recently last time he played here on how he comes up with the set list for a city - he has a massive database.

You'd need proper accounts the P+L and importantly the balance sheet for full transparency At least until they start paying their accountants more for corporate fuckery - though I think many do already to dodge taxes.

But the real fucker is in the bank loan, you probably can't borrow at the same rate until you have as much collateral as them. Even though your rent is literally the asset, and you and the previous tenants keep buying them more collateral that puts them in a better position to borrow more and acquire more.

Good old Free market, no barriers to entry, no first mover advantage, no congestion effects . . . /s. I'm sure rent control is terrible invention, ruins cities.

I recommend it for learning/entertainment/passtime - I don't see why anyone cant fuck with it on a vm or spare partition. Not for dependency though.

But i generally recommend people strive for some degree of independence in most things, as a good fallback.
