My white friend from the SE US shares the name of a black guy from SW US that murdered a bunch of people. He still fails every background check they do and needs “further investigation” every time to ensure they aren’t the same person.

The old ones are extremely reliable and last forever. Mine is 12 years old with 140,000 miles. It’s still drives like the day I bought it. The only thing I’ve ever fixed is the dashboard screen. And for that I had the option of going with a generic part and doing it myself or taking it to any mechanic.

Lots of thing cost $1-2 that you might want to tip for. Bartending during drink specials, valet, coat check, bag check, bell hop, etc.

In defense of this, I work on a service that uses square and allows tips. One of the issues with square tips is you can only ask for percentages, not dollar amounts. Since the service I work on usually costs $1-2, we have to put in high percentages for tips in order for it to be meaningful. I believe ours is set to 25, 50, 75 and 100%. Which is usually equivalent to <$2. They could have had a similar situation here except whatever service they offer ended up being far higher than normal.

Mine is still quite small. It produced 2 pears the first season and only 1 the second season. I think the number will go up as it gets bigger. But it had 100s of blossoms both years, so it could be a pollination issue.

Very nice! I have a dwarf pear I planted in my front yard. When it blossoms, it’s very beautiful. It’s my favorite plant in I own (I have a lot). If you are too late to eat the pear or just not interested, bury the pear in dirt and you will have another one in a year. I have the original and 3 babies in 2 years.
