Teenagers aren't really known for making great decisions.
Source: was once a teenager, made bad decisions.
You'd have to be careful to craft the message in a way that a vision-impaired student would know to ignore it though, since assistive tech like a screenreader would suffer the same flaw. But by making it so outlandish helps.
Trump is a slob about everything, but he's careful about one specific thing:
He will never testify under oath. And that's what Stewart was ultimately busted for - lying under oath.
I already switched my devices to Kubuntu.
I gave Mint a shot and while its hardware support was the best (least Nvidia pain of any distro) the whole thing just felt so single-threaded. It was just too easy to lock up the UI. Maybe I was playing with bad plug-ins though, but they were official ones.
Then again, I managed to crash KDE Plasma by installing the vertical clock plugin.
If they'd just kept the old Windows 10 taskbar/launcher the could've pushed it out as a forced update and very few people would've complained. Yes there'd be a few tech geeks freaking out, but the majority of users' main complaint is GUI workflow. Leave that as-is and it's an easy win.
If fishing worked like this I would totally start doing that.
IANAL but AFAIK they only need one charge to hold him and they can tack on more charges later. Realistically plea bargaining means that he won't actually get convicted of murder, but they could still use a murder charge to get him to cop to manslaughter.
Happy to see that the article isn't mincing words calling this a "crash" or an "accident" and Texas has him booked for manslaughter. Hopefully when it comes time to take him to court they can up that to murder (and, realistically, plea bargain him back down to manslaughter).
I do wonder if the subjects were reversed - if it were a Latino run over by a white woman - if Texas would take this as seriously.

and multiple driving offenses
People like that should not be driving. I realize that in Texas it's cruel to take somebody's license because that's basically crippling them. That's one of the many costs of car-centric planning: Since everyone must drive, it becomes unthinkable to take that away from someone.
I'm all about mocking the American Century of Humiliation brought on by cuts to their food safety system, but in this case isn't there evidence that the contaminated lettuce was originally sourced from Mexico? I'm not super big on trusting any evidence from the MAGA admin but AFAIK that's all we've got.
