Did you do anything to fill the void? Like actually being social irl? Talking to people irl? What you're describing is a normal human interaction but if you're not getting that irl, you'll fall back onto social media for the simple fact is that you're human and human need contact with others to save them from going insane.

    Tl;dr:

"Me and my mates are fine but some of them still whinge they can only take 3 vacations a year. I consider myself progressive, so know they can cope with only 2 trips to Europe this year. Burnham needs to convince them this is okay - I believe some people can only afford 1 holiday because they spend all their money on horses and cigarettes. I've never met anyone poorer than that so they must not exist"

    Probably.

The DNC is split between the old guard and the new. This is why it's very important to select the candidates like Mamdani or AOC but don't be under the illusion that that is whom the old guard want - they didn't support Mamdani at all. Which means the internal selection for candidates is where the change has to occur to get the bulk of the old guard out.

Or, and I say this as an Australian where we have compulsory voting, do the exact opposite:

    • Compulsory voting so everyone is forced to vote.
    • Make it very easy to vote because of that.
    • Support education of what voting means and why.
    • Make it on a weekend so it's even easier.
    • Early voting and mail-in voting to make it easier.
    • Transferable vote and ranked choice voting.

This allows for multiple parties, weeds out/waters down the crazies and in general, the population get a more representative democracy. Mixed-member proportionality would be even better.

Your version leads to disenfranchisement, a second-class citizenry and oppression - which is exactly what the fascists and white nationalists want. Do you know literally anything about how hard it was for people to gain the right to vote over history?

A few years ago, the naysayers were all saying "Australia will be a dumping ground for ICE vehicles", now "Australia will be a dumping ground for handleless doors". Next it will be "Australia will be a dumping ground for older battery styles" or something equally inane.

    Funnily enough, we aren't.

    A few questions here.

Why? Because the US is purposely obtuse.
Ripped off? Yes, that's the point.
Difficult to understand actual cost? Yes, that's the point.
Visitors? The US doesn't care about them, or you, or anyone else, and barely about USians either.

So yeah, title give you my views on Christianity and all other abrahamic religions. So am I right in thinking that this was one of the main takeaways. I dunno man, women fucking rule. Seems a pretty dumb takeaway. Edit: and why does nobody talk about Lilith? She seemed pretty legit.

Let's be honest, not every movie "needs" to be in 4k, but some really gain from that additional resolution - and that's ignoring seating position and screen size. What are your favourite movies that you'd recommend in 4K over the same movie in 1080p?

For example, I always prefer Christopher Nolan movies, anything shot in 70mm/IMAX film and anything animated, set in space/fantasy worlds or BBC Nature documentaries to be 4K (and HDR preferably).

The next version of an international council needs actual authoritative power. There's no point if someone just decides they don't want to listen and will do whatever they want. Veto power should be curtailed if a supermajority of countries are in agreement otherwise a bad actor will push their weight around.

Why should this latest offer be accepted when it will still leave SA behind other states? Not to mention that other states are also advocating for higher pay? Union is not fighting for the people on this one, this is laughable.
