Why do these people think they will be the employable ones? If AI is so smart, why would I need an expensive employee to prompt it, who hasn't done anything but prompt AI for years and thus has proven that he is unable to do the work himself?
If I buy into their psychosis that this thing is going to automate away actual people, surely it follows that it's going to reach a point where the CEO just prompts his AI agents in the morning and leaves to play golf, no need for employees at all.

You did not understand my comment. They may not care about the physical media, but they will care about the fuckeries a Sony with a total monopoly over playstation games will force on people. Dictating higher prices without even the slightest competition will only be the beginning.
That's not an argument to take the same choice away from future customers.
We made the choice for mostly digital in a world where physical was still available as a fallback. That's not the same situation as if it wasn't. The existence of physical media and a resale market does prevent some of the worst fuckeries of an otherwise monopoly, regardless if you ever bought or sold used games.
Der potentielle neue Arbeitgeber darf dich nach deinem derzeitigen Gehalt nur fragen, wenn die bisherigen Bezüge relevant für deine Qualifikation für die neue Stelle sind (das wird in den meisten Fällen schwer zu argumentieren sein). Wenn du gefragt wirst, darfst du sonst einfach lügen.
Die unrichtige Beantwortung einer solchen Frage rechtfertigt die Anfechtung des Arbeitsvertrags wegen arglistiger Täuschung nicht.
Von dir aus solltest du nicht mit "ich verdiene im Moment x" anfangen, sondern mit "meine Gehaltsvorstellung ist y". Wie hoch y ist und wie weit du dich von y runter handeln lassen möchtest, musst du wissen.
Wenn sie mit "Einarbeiten kostet Geld" kommen, würde ich mindestens verlangen, dass die Länge der Einarbeitung und eine automatische Gehaltserhöhung danach vertraglich festgehalten wird.
Meiner beschränkten Erfahrung nach kommt aber eher sowas wie "wir zahlen nicht mehr als x, mehr bekommen die Anderen auch nicht, dAs iSt EiN sTaNdArDvErTrAg", und wenn das für dich nicht passt musst du ggf. auch bereit sein zu gehen.
Ist nichts linksradikales drin.
