IMO the movies should be movies.

Tone down the world building, the existential messages and social commentary and make something thats more accessable to a wider audience.

Dont fuck with the show, the show is absolutely for all of that.

Also YT might be a soulless big tech giant with highly questionable ethics but they are literally a modern technological marvel with a how-to video on pretty much anything, niche and hobby content that "tv" and streaming would never touch and literally endless pure entertainment...

They are not now nor have they ever been a public service. Frankly its a minor miracle that in this day and age that they have a purely advertising supported option for access.

Race car engines have teams of engineers who pull engines down after each race, and while the fuel allows you to push performance envelopes its about 30% less energy dense, its also hydroscopic so it absorbs atmospheric moisture and spoils much quicker. Its an alternative, but its very much a trade off in terms of drawbacks.

The memes about it coming starting to pop up in mid october. Its one joke about the song being overplayed, the joke is never original, Ive never seen a creative version of it. If old people have "boomer humor" whats the short term for "Millenials without two brain cells to rub together who will share on any joke that they understand"

The song is well produced overplayed pandering pop garbage. The jokes about it suck more.

Ive been looking into what I can put together for the price I can get a Samsung q990f system for and this reciever seems to do everything I want and it has the benefit of being cheapish.

Essentially I want to watch 4k blurays on a 4k tv with good surround sound. I love the "one box, minimal wires, no legwork" nature of the Samsung. That has value to me. BUT its not quite as good and if something in the bar goes dead, the whole setup is pretty much garbage. So I'm exploring my options.

Second hand receivers that arent 15 years old are still demanding half of what that receiver costs me new, and it seems to have everything that someone setting up a budget 4k 5.1 home theater could want. So, thoughts?

Ok, I need an honest, no BS assessment on how a Samsung q990d system will compare to a cheap 5.1 (or 7.1 etc) system.

I can get a q990d for $1400aud which includes rear speakers and a sub. Will connest with the samsung tv and its all just ready to go out of the box.

Surround sound setups range from free to $40,000... of course a well thought out setup will be better but I just want to hear the cars overtaking me when I watch Ford Vs Ferarri.

For the "sub 2k" price bracket. As a novice, how much am I leaving on the table really?

17x7.5,, has a made in england stamping but no definitive stampings for pcd, offset or centerbore. Look like RS Cosworth wheels but arent. Has a retaining bolt hole for the flat bolt hole cover (which I'll post in another comment, which matches some 90s ford wheels) owner says they came off a Peugeot but my fellow french car enthusiasts say they definitely arent an OE Peugeot wheel.
