Much like how the iphones don't have AI... they have Apple Intelligence (which, even though it could and should be shortened to its AI acronym, isn't). Apple is all about marketing, even when it makes no difference and everyone knows they're full of shit.

They did elect a black president, so I tend to agree with you.

iOS sucks hard in a lot of ways. In a lot of the same ways android sucks, in fact. One way iOS sucks more than android, is that when I tap a button on android, it actually registers the tap on the first attempt, instead of completely ignoring my multiple taps (it's completely bonkers). Memory management is iOS's strong suit, for sure, and android has eons to learn from apple on this. All things considered, the only thing that android has on iOS is its ability to install whatever APK I want. But Google is doing everything to stop this. If/when they do, I will have run out of reasons to stay on android.

All this to say: I get you, I hear you, and I'm here with you. You're not alone.

They can send executable links through emails and get their pants in a twist when the users do the right thing and report it for being shady AF, but they can't use RMM to automatically install their updates? Bullshit IT department needs to be fully replaced.

Not to mention the now voided warranty.

Off topic, but the laptop in the main picture is one I've wanted since I was a kid. Anyone know of any modern(ish) variant of that same form factor? Or, even, what is this one in particular?
