“Accidentally”

Microsoft’s notion of consent is terrifying.

Yeah, I removed OneDrive at least twice and they "accidentally" reinstalled and reactivated it on two updates.

The second time I found out about it because I got a warning that they had uploaded too many of my files against my consent, my allotted cloud storage was full, and if I wanted access to my files I had to pay up.

I removed it again, then there was another update. Guess whose files "accidentally" got held for ransom again?

    Now I'm on Linux.

"I don't even wait. And when you're a big company, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab 'em by the auto-update. You can do anything."

Hey, if it's good enough for the esteemed President of the United States of America, it's good enough for Microsoft.

The easy way to remove the malware is to install Linux.

Kinda like how the wives of cops always accidentally have black eyes.

Wow, Microsoft sure has been making a lot of accidents lately. Almost like things are being done without human oversight.

How many times could Microsoft slap their users in the face after swearing not to (with K2)? I've long lost count. The number is too high though.

I haven’t used windows in years except when my mother asks me to help her out occasionally, and I don’t miss it at all.
