The trailer for this makes it look pretty bad. It's gonna be one of those very generic plot heavy films where they are just running from A to B to C with no real point to anything they are doing. Everything will sort of just happen to the characters.

Eh. I can accept unexplained premises, if that's not the focus of the story. Sometimes you just want to do a fish out of water story without talking about the fisherman. But when you spend multiple seasons doing weird stuff and it turns out it was all a dream or whatever, you're a screwup.
