kinda harsh. I think the series overall is a fine piece of art. It was a predictable ending but resolved with enough skill to not feel disappointing. Probably my biggest critique is that it becomes less and less funny as the series goes on. I get that it's trying to deal with mature themes about emotions and trauma but you can still tackle those themes and tell jokes.
(I believe) It is a story about mental health, no more no less. And while the topic was tackled with a lot of humour it still always came back to some form of mental health struggle each episode.
The whole abstracting thing being a convenient replacement for dying by suicide doesn't really sit right with me but then again I probably wasn't the intended audience anyways.
Honestly? I think if Goosworx wanted to make a cartoon diving into the topic than they did great.
Extra thoughtThough I can understand your frustration, I belive TADC was never meant to be a deep piece of media filled with lore like the FNAF franchise or like Helluva Boss or smth.
Hey kinda liked it, mainly that sour resolution for some characters was nice.
Would like to know what you didn't like and also I didn't saw/played anything besides the glitch show.
I will forever find it deeply concerning the "vocal" "fandom" internet hated the rabbit so damn bad all things considered but instantly forgave Caine what with the torture.
