Ive already logged off my friends list because I'm kind of embarrassed I cant get this damn game to work properly and need to restart again.

It's especially cool when it's your coworkers during the workday and they are not answering your messages.

It's more like a domestic argument. You know they are fighting with each other and maybe trying to change things, but it's not working out. And you just don't want to get involved or reminded.

Fun fact: instead of going invisible, you can mark games as private.

They won't show up as recently played, on your profile, and other people won't see you're in-game, but at least you're not announcing to the world what you're doing.

Conversely, if you're annoyed by others, you can turn those notifications off.

How does the Deck factor in here? Does it ping my friends I'm playing the same game every time I take it out of sleep?

OTOH this is how I find out about fun new single player games (my favorite type of game) since all of my friends are more unemployed than I am and find the good shit before me.
