I think many of his supporters will applaud him for this. The maga crowd seem very immature and childish, which is probably why they like him. They think this is the right way to act.

I would characterize it as more of an angry shamble than a storming off.

But this will go mostly unnoticed by his supporters.

His supporters will only know about it when their right-wing propaganda channels mention it in passing but spin it so hard even the anchors get dizzy.

Isn't there a provision that if any candidate gets a simple majority (>50%) in the primary they win the general by default? Or did I dream that up

He is not in charge. The world is a lot more complex than Trumplethinskin supposedly running the US. To be honest, he can't even run a business unless it is into the ground.

A better question is who is actually in charge.
