Please don't link to archive(.ph/.is etc.). The operator abuses their website to ddos other sites.

Unfortunately, there is not a single working alternative for most major newspapers. I have asked many times and no one can provide working alternatives for spiegel.de standard.at and ft.com just ro name a few of the major publications that get posted every day and can't be replaced by other sources in most cases.

    https://cybernews.com/security/archive-today-launches-ddos-directing-visitors-to-attack-blog/

Just one site though and the " alleged" ddos atacks are personal:

"The entire situation revolves around an old blog post published nearly three years ago, in which Patokallio attempted to identify the individuals behind Archive.today."

Has anyone any newer news yet? I thought it was under investigation by LW admin.

When people started digging, all sorts of other problematic stuff about the operator came to light.

"Where I think it has gone wrong is that fundamentally Britain’s ‘asks’ are still the same,” another EU diplomat says. “They are asking for a ‘reset’ but it’s like old wine in new bottles: asking for being part of those areas of the single market only where they believe they have a competitive advantage. And they do not want to pay.”

So, we'll see how it will go in July.
