Yeah, whenever there's a practical choice, I'm picking non-American. I'm also bringing up relying on US tech at work, but moving people away from AWS/Azure/GCP is a Herculian task.

Very much agree with this. The end result might actually be that women and girls won't be allowed to go out at all, which isn't great.
