I'm surprised they're willing to support a competitor here.
Maybe they're aware of the fact that there is no SteamOS replacement in the mobile handheld gaming space, and that they make money from game purchases anyhow so even if it isn't a Steam Deck they're still benefiting.
I feel like Valve should focus on fixing the current jank in SteamOS first before supporting other devices. Core features like background recording have been broken for many since May with no sign of a fix. Getting their own OS running smoothly should be the priority.
Do the disconnected controllers work along with fps mode?
I am an idiot and I answered my question about the detarchable controllers and fps mode a month or so ago when I was giving steamos a try on my LeGo 1. Yes they work, so I guess in a way yes it is supported. I just do not know if valve has officially stated anywhere that they include it in the "offical supported devices" line up.
