I'm fairly NT (I think), without much trauma history, and my experience with therapy has been kind of similar. I think this video is probably worth a watch for you. It's basically arguing that intellectualising is a defence mechanism that prevents proper connection to feelings, and that focusing on the physical aspects of emotions is a way to counteract that. For me, it's not a solution, but it does provide a partial answer to why therapy hasn't worked a bunch of times before.
