No they won't. We do this kind of thing all the time.

The Egyptians build pyramids.

The Babylonians build a tower.

The people of Peru drew the Nazca lines. (very drought related)

The people of the Chaco Canyon built huge structures and a large civilization. Then had to abandon it all during a epic drought.

But the all time winner is the destruction of the Aral sea by the soviet union.

    The Egyptians build pyramids

Did it put 63% of their nation into drought?^1^

Was it drought related in the sense that it put 63% of their country into drought? Only asking because i don't know, so please elaborate on its relevance :)

The people of the Chaco Canyon built huge structures and a large civilization. Then had to abandon it all during a epic drought.

And that is what's going to happen to the USA.

^1^ If i use more-precise but less-snappy wording, consider this phrase "Did it put 63% of the territories in its nation into drought conditions." We can't know if exactly 63% of Egypt was suffering drought at once, it requires modern, fast and responsive datakeeping.
