Watch the video. The text was "hidden" in the sense that it was the same color as the background. Meaning it would get caught by assistive devices like screen readers or anyone copy/pasting the instructions into a word processor in which they would actually construct their response. Too many possibilities for false positives without the students having any sort of evidence to back up their claims if they were to contest it.

    You are being downvoted by others but this is actually a fair point; although I would assume that in a practical environment the professor is aware of assistive devices students may be using and would take that into consideration rather than just automatically failing them.

    Regarding the copy pasting into a word processor: why would this necessary or allowed in an exam scenario?
