According to your own link the bill was proposed by Trump, passed with Bipartisan support, and was unenforceable until after Biden would long since be gone from office.

What are you claiming I rewrote? What specifically do you think was incorrect about my summary?

The democrats were pushing hard for a tiktok ban during Biden's entire term. You are rewriting history as if Tiktok shutting down preemptively wasn't in response to a ban that was going to hit in a couple months under the Biden regime.

There isn't anything "preemptive" about it, the Chinese dictatorship used it to interfere in US elections and the result of that interference is the Trump administration.

TikTok was a weapon from its inception.

If that was true, they wouldn't have tried to toady up to the state department by hiring a bunch of natsec ghouls and suppressing divisive content like BLM after Trump started chirping about banning them. It was dumb when Trump tried and the users didn't like that, it was even dumber for the Biden admin to see this, and then do it themselves.

Small correction, TikTok did not suppress BLM, although it did ban the phrase White Lives Matter, more accurately TikTok has always been actively suppressing Black creators in general. It still is, too. Which is just on brand for those CCP fucks and Tankies like yourself.
