Is comedy illegal now? We can’t laugh about choosing the bear?

You found two shitposts. Congrats. Thanks for ignoring the majority of the content that’s actually there.

Don’t you see? Men are so HURT by the bear thing! You just have to choose the man! Come on da lil bear is so scawwy, how could you possibly choose that?

Do you think it irks them so much because it’s true, and they can’t admit it? It’s like every time they bring it up it proves the point. Insane.

This bear thing is so funny. I'm a man and I'd rather encounter a bear in the woods than a stranger man.
You can learn how to prevent or protect yourself from bear attacks in a 4-hour training.
With a stranger, you have no idea how he'll react.

Anyone who says this has literally never encountered a bear before

I've been charged and nearly killed by a grizzly near Nordegg AB like 10 years ago. Bear spray did nothing.

Hundreds upon hundreds of humans met on the trail and none have tried to kill me.

Yeah all those women raped, beat, kept captive, impregnated, murdered, tortured - that was just bears in men’s suits.

    Silly us.

If you encountered as many bears as you did men, you wouldn't be alive lol.

This debate is garbage though. You'll never get close to a bear in your entire life so having this conversation with you is pointless

You’re missing the entire point of the meme. And I’m not here to debate it.

It’s not for you. It was posted inside a women’s only community as a meme.

Having a bunch of men speculating that women shouldn’t be allowed our own space because misandry might happen is ridiculous.

Anyone who partakes in man vs bear debate is a sexist. It's perfectly designed rage bait.

Anyone who thinks men are more dangerous than bears are either sexist or uneducated.

You should have this conversation with a woman who actually spends time in the back country. Someone who has personally had a close call with a bear before.

I've almost been killed by a bear before but you don't care and won't listen to a word I say because I'm a man.

    I’m not debating this.

I’m defending the womensstuff community. It’s not a misandrist space.

I worked as a hiking guide in the Chilcotin Mountains for a year, and did a Grizzly population count for a land use report during that time. I literally had more than one bear encounter per week, sometimes 5 in a day.

You're a hiking guide, and you think a random person in the woods is scarier than a bear? I am sorry but I just don't believe you.

Bears don’t kidnap and torture. Bears don’t rape. Bears don’t keep women captive for years in their basements and impregnate them over and over and then rape their children.

Bears don’t expect women to suck their cocks and force it into our mouths when we refuse. Bears don’t grope, make cat calls, or otherwise make us afraid as we walk home. Bears don’t force themselves into our anuses because they were mad we did anal sex with a past boyfriend.

Bears don’t spike our drinks. Bears don’t blame us for getting raped. Bears don’t share intimate videos and pics with their friends.

I can avoid bears. I can’t avoid men.

OK so you do admit bears are scary. Why are you avoiding them? Lol

I'm actually on board with what you're saying for once.

That said I've been abused by a woman before in arguably worse ways than what you describe and the cool part is that nobody cared or believed me

Maybe all humans are just terrible? That's what I think.

Reading comprehension is lost on the lot of you, I swear.

I never said that bears aren't scary.

    Men are scarier than bears.

You’ve been abused worse than being kept captive and impregnated over and over again and forced to watch your children be raped by their sperm donor?

I was with a narcissistic woman for 10 years who tried to kill me multiple times, stole everything from me including all my friends, my computers, my guitars, kicked me out of my own apartment and I was homeless for a month (and then almkst lost my career for sleeping in my office), told everyone I know that I'm a violent rapist, bunch of other fun stuff that makes me permanently afraid of getting close to women

I'm a man though so you don't give a shit lol. Literally nobody gave a shit except my parents and sister, to this day

Let’s see you bring this energy to any of the multiple shitposting communities that are majority male.

Let women have our spaces. It’s the only community that’s ours. Women are allowed to be upset about how men at large treat us, how they rape and beat us, how men laugh at our genitals, our hobbies, our passions.

We’re allowed to talk about our lives.

Frankly, this reads in the same way as All Lives Matter arguments. The default for most online spaces is male. You went and found one of the only comms where that isn't the case and got offended that it didn't cater to you, then cherry picked a few shitposts/joke posts to support your misogynism.

Also, there actually are communities for "men's stuff" like dullmensclub.

That’s because the men’s stuff community is all of the other parts of the fediverse.

Very impressive that you can divine the essence of a community, not reflected in posts, just by reading a bunch of posts and making assumptions about them. That's a neat trick.

  • Women, am I right?

Every time ladies get together it's always "I'm tired of being treated like an object of sexual gratification! I am constantly barraged by unwelcome harassment whenever I'm alone in public! I deserve to be treated like an equal member of society regardless of my appearance or your feelings about it!" Blah blah blah.

Calm down ladies, just because we continually elect to ignore you doesn't mean we didn't hear you the first time. Next you're gonna tell me you deserve to vote even after you get married to a man and take his name. Typical hysterical women.
