In what way is asking for a place where they can pray imposing their religion on others? It's a reasonable accommodation in the same way that not working on the sabbath would be.

Fuck muslims with a necrotic pork penis.

Frankly, it sounds like you've got your own issues with bigotry to get over. Maybe look in the mirror before projecting your problems onto others.

For those who'd rather not engage with clickbait headlines:

    In brief

    • Stanford researchers supported a study in Senegal showing rice-fish coculturing reduces disease-carrying snails while boosting rice yields by over 25 percent.
    • The intervention introduced native fish species into rice fields, offering potential income through fish sales and lowering schistosomiasis risk for farming families.
    • This approach could scale across disease-endemic regions, addressing health, food security, and poverty with one sustainable agricultural solution.

  • I have two primary playlists, a metal playlist that spans a plurality of subgenres and an instrumental Mick Gordon Doom soundtrack-esque playlist, and then a bunch of different smaller ones (punk, rock, alt indie, norwegian space disco, etc.) for when I'm looking to change it up a bit.

I primarily listen through spotify (it's a family plan and I'm working on getting the person who manages it to switch, it's an uphill battle), which has halfway decent discovery through other people's public playlists and the new shuffle feature that weaves similar songs in.

Sirius XM is also a discovery and listening source for me, I like the hosts on channel 40 Liquid Metal and like how they promote new and small bands.

  • Yup, this is what did it for me as well. I was in high school at the time and Musk had done a decent job until that point of making himself out to be a real-life Tony Stark, so I thought he seemed pretty cool. That incident really exposed how he just wanted to be the most important person in the room and have the world fawn over his shitty ideas.

It amazes me when people claim they bought their car before he 'went crazy'. He has been obviously evil since at least 2018 when that happened, and the average length of car ownership in the US is around 6 years, so it's likely that the vehicle was purchased after he went mask off.

If google decides to truly go full-on walled garden, I'm probably going to jump to apple. I have been an android diehard for over a decade because the platform was open for however I wanted to use it. If they're going to dictate what I can and cannot do, then I have minimal reason to continue choosing android, at which point I'd rather opt for the more polished experience.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. Solar panels have made some great strides in efficiency over the last several years, but it's still not quite to the point where it's properly useful in this application.

Not to be pessimistic, but we may never get to that point- to some degree, you simply need more surface area than a car provides.
