As someone who's had similar issues, I've previously wondered if it would be possible to 'simulate' a prescription lens and have the headset just add a distortion to the video feed that approximates what your lenses do.

I have two primary playlists, a metal playlist that spans a plurality of subgenres and an instrumental Mick Gordon Doom soundtrack-esque playlist, and then a bunch of different smaller ones (punk, rock, alt indie, norwegian space disco, etc.) for when I'm looking to change it up a bit.
