They never did it again. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] EldritchFeminity@lemmy.blahaj.zone 32 points 6 months ago I've heard basically the same story before from a local incident, but with the added bonus of the other side: they used a metal bat and the kid dislocated his arm and was almost pulled right out of the car. permalink fedilink source parent [–] SchwertImStein@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 6 months ago there was a CSI episode about this permalink fedilink source parent [–] RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago (1 child) Where are these snowmen situated? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] A_norny_mousse@feddit.org 5 points 6 months ago permalink fedilink source parent [–] SweepTheLeg@lemmy.world -5 points 6 months ago* (2 children) To make it worse, if they set a boobytrap on purpose that's illegal ( in in the US) and the kids could be liable. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Master@sh.itjust.works 16 points 6 months ago (1 child) the blocks were just there for support so the snowman stands better. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] thethunderwolf@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 6 months ago Yes permalink fedilink source parent [–] socsa@piefed.social 8 points 6 months ago (1 child) Putting a brick in a snowman is not a booby trap lmao. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] SweepTheLeg@lemmy.world 1 point 6 months ago Depends on intent but yeah permalink fedilink source parent [–] scrubbles@poptalk.scrubbles.tech 150 points 6 months ago (1 child) Same type of person would drive through a pile of leaves not thinking if there were kids in it. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] sem@piefed.blahaj.zone 0 points 6 months ago (1 child) I don't agree with driving into snowmen, especially if they're not in the street.
