Lol, yeah right.....

As if Islam or Judaism wouldn't be just as bad or worse if it was in the majority in the Western world.

The Middle East, the last bastion of the free world /s.

Religion and forcing it upon others is the real problem here. Regardless of what religion it is.

Yeah, the fundamental issue here too, ultimately, condenses down to tolerance and acceptance. Of other faiths, of other customs, of foreign ways to present or identify, of anything your faith or culture might not allow or actively do.

Just being able to accept or at the very least tolerate others, as they are, without trying to turn them, or, kill them if they won’t turn…

I can’t figure out why this is so hard for us humans, the majority of us at least, when it seems so… easy? Unless the difference is offensive to you, which, again, is just intolerance of difference. Just let them be and be your best self yourself. I can understand having a few words to try and sway them to be saved according to your faith or whatever, but failing that, just live your best life and I don’t know… maybe pray for them on your own or something if you’re truly worried about their soul or something. But dont go bothering them with that shit if they aren’t receptive. It seems so simple?

The Middle East was one of the most progressive places in the world. Islam is still the most tolerant religion

Either you're trolling, or have never studied history of Islam, it's birth and spread. Or were taught those by your local priest.

Don't bother, its going to be a wasted breathe.

This is clearly either a troll, a kid or just an ignorant fuck that can't be bothered to do the most basic readings of history.

Great discourse, you sure have shown that you have a complete understanding of what you're saying with that comment.

How are you going to blame the west when Islam and Middle Eastern religions have been around FAR longer than any country in the west has existed. They've always had extreme positions and practices in comparison to what we deem socially acceptable now.

Islam and Middle Eastern religions have been around FAR longer than any country in the west has existed.

I want to say no, because there are sheds in Scotland (~100 BC) older than Islam (~600 AD), and 600 AD in Europe we had shitton of Kingdoms etc, but maybe I didn't understand your point? Could you explain what did you mean?

Scotland wasn't a thing in 600AD 100BC (Misread) even if that shed existed. All I meant was that the religions predate what is now considered western countries. It was to show blaming the western world makes absolutely no sense.

Evil has no birthplace, it has always existed in all people. Evil was there long before 'The West' or 'Middle East' were things. Religions don't cause evil or intolerance, but some religions can be easily used to justify stoning gay people to death, or killing women for daring to be independant. If the bible didn't command that gay people be murdered, or if Islam didn't command that apostates be slain, it would be much harder to justify these evil acts. This isn't a problem of religion, it's a problem of cultures that take their religion too seriously.
