If I snarkily told someone to read an article that I had not, myself, read, I would feel embarrassed. I don't know if you tell yourself you're just trolling or if you were trying to spark a certain reaction. I would love to know your thought process behind the original comment. Did you achieve your goal? If you didn't, is there something else you could have said that would have worked? And if you did, was the goal worthy?
