Hello Synthwave community ! The Fediverse Canvas event is starting on 18th July. Like each year, it's my pleasure to propose a template representing our music niche, collaborate and have fun together. This year, I would like pay an homage to an artiste at the crossroads of synthwave and chiptune: LukHash ! I have recreated a portion of the Home Arcade album cover. It's an ambitious 111x116px, it will be a challenge to complete in 48 hours ! (for reference, last year's Carpenter Brut logo was 64x64px).

Let me know if you have other template suggestions, or suggestions to improve this template !

Metal meets Chiptune !

Great mix of synthwave and chiptune, dark and melodic, one of my favorite track from the album.

LukHash is a artist from Scotland, creating really cool Chiptune, Synthwave tracks. I really recommend to checkout his album Virtual Burnout for more good vibes !

This is one of the tracks that I made for the video game project I'm working on. I'm still a beginner in music though. So I believe it might sound bad. I think volume balancing could use some polish.

This is my first attempt at a chiptune-type Jam. Thought you guys might like it :) Please don't be to harsh :)

While not very purists in its form, and a bit liberated from limitations of any specific 8-bit system, I tried to use samples and/or create patches true to the genre.

Interesting chip-metal artist I hadn't heard of before reading about this tour. Reminds me a bit of Rainbowdragoneyes.

This is a Game Boy song I wrote for a chiptune competition. I don’t think I quite met the goal of a having a song with a “dramatic break” in it. But it was fun to make, and I really like how it turned out. :)

Has anyone else used Carillon Editor? It’s the only tracker software I’d used so far, but I’d also like to try the PICO-8 tracker some time.
