I can confirm you only need to physically disconnect the non-windows target drive during installation, and as long as you offline the remaining drives after connecting them, windows and other drives will be fine with updates (THIS is the most important part, do it in Disk Management on first boot into windows).

I've run two Windows instances for years, through multiple OS major updates and never had problems with this setup, before doing the offline drive change to each of them, they would both fuck over each other (I had one for work and one for personal).

One thing I did that may be necessary, is I didn't let a boot loader handle the dual boot, I only used BIOS to manage changing the boot target when switching over - I was doing dual windows boots at the time so this may actually be fine with grub, so ymmv on that front.

I still don't understand the hate for this game, also when it's clear it's from people who have not played it. It's fine if you don't like that style of game, but it is excellent if you do.

They've been pretty quiet about it in general, I'm not sure if no news about it confirms a "soft cancel" as you put it. Every time they mention it they reconfirm it but it's probably not as visible outside the community.

Rockstar and GTA6, or Valve and the new steam hardware are probably good examples of many companies choosing not to say anything until the answer is more than "work continues".

I've only seriously put any time into Matathon, but it has randomized multiple exfils, so maybe give it a try if you have interest in the genre apart from that (I'm not sure how common it is).

Are those the most popular games with a Linux client available? Maybe that's the issue.

My biggest problem with Tahoe is they broke spotlight - like it's completely useless 90% of the time, can't find files, gives me some random app without the words "calc" in it (Wipr is the first hit for whatever fucking reason) and not Calculator. It's insane how broken it is.
