If it doesn't matter, why are so many people afraid when the right wing parties take control? If it's not important why are people so concerned about the supreme Court? Why are women so scared of anti abortion legislation? You vote the legislative and they can simply take the power away from your social movements. So in the end, it does matter.

Not a football fan, but good answer to a stupid racist question. Journalism needs to reflect on how their reporting is enabling the far right and legitimising racist talking points in society. Ich denke Scholz verwechselt konservative, teils populistische Parteien mit der rechtsextremistischen AFD. Auch scheint er wenig Berührungsängste mit Meloni in Italien zu haben. Vielleicht trübt der Umgang sein Urteil? Er scheint zudem die Irreversibilität des Schadens an der Demokratie nicht zu verstehen, den die AFD anrichten. Die Strukturen sind jetzt bereits schon durchsetzt von Radikalen (ein Blick in kleine Städte in Ostdeutschland reicht da). Man denkt auf den ersten Blick es handelt sich im eine NGO, welche sich für soziale Marktwirtschaft (finden wir ja alle gut in D) einsetzt. Auf den zweiten Blick sieht man dann das da der Verbände Gesamtmetall hinter steck und eiskalt neoliberale (ganz und gar nicht sozial) Propaganda verbreitet, teilweise garniert mit Häme und Grünenbashing. Die Bändchen sagen wieder alles über die CDU.

Spot on! Fuck Hamas and all the terroristic acts against Jews and innocent lives. But one should also be able to recognise the ongoing crimes and genocide of the right wing Israeli government. Do they really think this war will lead to the destruction of Hamas or antisemitism in the region? I don't want to vote for anyone, because I am not a US citizen, but if I were, yes, I would say vote for Biden regardless. Why? Because even as a non US citizen I know enough about Project 2025 and this is not the future I want to see for this world. One good thing about Biden is that he will leave office when he loses. Last time Trump lost you nearly got a coup d'etat. But yeah, my comment wasn't exactly about Biden vs Trump but more about the hopelessness of the current situation where it seems to get worse irrelevant of the direction you go.

Strategischere Energiepoltik, Unabhängigkeit durch erneuerbare, selbstbewusste Sicherheitspolitik, Förderung von Partnerschaften auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent, Reform der Bundeswehr.
