I reckon it is less of my choice than I would like. His peers and friends will have a development, and it is beneficial to follow social norms and standards. That being said i still prefer that kids only get ipads and smartphones at around 15.

Well i mean "touch a screen" literally. A computer is different, but i am og the conviction that tiktoks is brain rot. When he is ready he will get my old laptop with linux and then he could do some homeworks or games. I prefer him to learn how a computer works, and an ipad is designed to never do that.

Infants have been using ipads for years, and i reckon that it also has made a significant impact on the development because school teachers(the ones i know) agree that teaching 10 y.o. today is a lot harder to teach today, compared to 15 years ago.

My kid at 5 never touched a screen or talked to AI yet. I hope i can hold it to 15 y.o.

    Hej dk preppers
