Since you seem a bit slow I'll spell it out for you; they can do whatever they want with the site and how it operates but they don't own the people who use it. Those people, despite any oppressive changes r*ddit makes, will still exist and continue to be a community even if they have to migrate elsewhere- whether it be to discord, lemmy, kbin, or anywhere else.
